My Peg Perego Skate 2010 does not click into position in the upright position because the little part just in front of the foot release does not come up anymore? I think it has a spring in it but the wear...

We fixed it!! Here is the problem: The stroller would not click into the upright position because a small part in front of the foot release would not pop up anymore. This round plunger should pop up and down, instead it's stuck down (flat) permanently. Apparently this is a common problem. Its seems sand and dirt get stuck in there jamming the whole thing.Solution: We screwed a small wood screw in the centre of the circular part. With pliers we pulled the part up. We then cleaned the area and sprayed with WD-40. Using the pliers we plunged it up and down, working the WD-40 into it until it moved freely by itself. We removed the screw. Continued pressing it in and out with our finger until it seemed to be working as it should. Problem solved!Note: We live in the city so we only use this stroller for walking. We don't take it in the car, so we don't need to collapse it all the time. If you are collapsing your stroller often I'm not sure if this will be a long term solution for you. But give it a go!

A standing pad for an older child to stand on the rear side of the stroller while a younger child is in the stroller... this gives the mom easy hands just to move 1 stroller instead of 2.

Mutsy make a great skate board that fits most strollers with a solid one piece back axel. It fits Bugaboos except for the Bee

How do i fit the seat on the frame

It's a bit of a black art! Frame must be fully open to fit seat unit, then the seat unit should side straight down those two guide posts to a nice double click sound. Yeah right! Keep wiggling you'll get there.

Just bought jane powertwin oro and having trouble putting car seat on front, the existing seat when i fold it down to accomodate car seat seems too bulky, what is the correct way of doing this? thanks :)

Although I have not heard of the Oro, I can advise that with the Powertwin the best thing to do is to remove the front seat fabric, leaving just the frame of the seat on the chassis, move this forward and hey presto!

I hope this helps. (Just don't loose the seat fabric!)

Seat Unit Dropping Down the Chassis

Stokke has been contacted about this problem a few times and they offer a replacement piece that you insert yourself so that the system does not descend and it will be secured tighter. Just call them or email them...they are very good about helping you out with these problems even if your stroller is second-hand or no longer under warranty. Their Customer Service is amazing!

I own a Stokke Xplory Stroller too...and although I have not had this problem...I know about it.
