Question about Proxxon 38070 FKS/E Table Saw

1 Answer

The rail on my FKS/E Proxxon table saw splays out at the end so precise straight cuts are difficult. Is there an attachment available to clamp on for the full length of the table, or some other way to

Micro Mark catalogue has an Accuriser 11, but says it's compatible only for another brand of table saw. I'd appreciate your help Tess Edwards, N.Z

There should be a screw on the front end of the rail that can be loosened and adjust the guide straight and then retighten. Sometimes the screws are on top of the guide to do the same thing..

How do I make adjustments on my ridged r4512 table saw?

The carriage under the table is held to the underside of the table with several bolts or screws. Loosen those screws.
Raise the blade and clamp a stiff metal straight edge to the side of the blade. Use a carbide blade and clamp the straight edge to the sides of the teeth. Move the carriage around until the straight edge is parallel with the miter gauge slots, then tighten the bolts.

Why does tile veer off?

If you have a bridge saw. The blade and motor may not be parallel with the rails the motor travels on.

Setting up a jig saw to cut a straight 1/4 inch

Hi there,

You will need two C clamps and a straight edge,I use a metal yard stick.Whatever you use look down the edge a make sure it's true.

Set up on the line and make sure the blade is going to cut on the waste side of the line.Measure the distance from the edge of the wood to the other side of the jigsaw glide plate and make a mark.Transfer the measurement to the other end.I move the blade up just above the surface so I can set the jig saw on the wood while I get the measurements. The last step is to clamp the straight edge down.Make sure to have the clamps with the handles down.Check under to make sure you won't run into any thing and do a dry run to check for cord hang ups. This is the best way as long as you keep the edge of the bottom jig saw plate against the straight edge.^^^^ Well that's how I do it. good luck

You can all so use the T bar attachment that slides through the bottom plate and clamps down with thumb screws.Personally I like the straight edge.

Bearing sounds to be damaged and spring washer is damaged.

removing a bearing requires a press. there is a tool that clamps under the bearing but lets the shaft through so it holds the bearing while the shaft is pushed through. i hope that makes sense.

I need a table saw, fitted into a lorry of say 22-23 foot body. The saw will have to be able to cut out sections of board for the original plugs on the wall etc. That would mean it would have to cut...

You can forget about the table saw, If you are cutting through the back of the material to avoid the tear out of the work, the table saw is not what you want. I would do the receptacles with a jig saw or router. The table saw could still be used for cutting windows out and panels. 3000 x 1200 is what, 4 x10 feet? Plywood? Drywall? You know what we do? Instead of making a panel fit the old box, we get new work boxes, the ones with the clamps on them, we put the hole in the middle of the wall, no stud, and put the box in later, saves time and money and you get a straight line.all the same. Hope this helps.

What makes a rip cut on the table saw to end up concave instead of perfectly straight? Does that mean the rip fence is concave from end to end too?

It is doubtful that the fence is concave but this can be checked with a straight-edge. More likely this is caused by the blade having hit a nail on one side and the teeth on that side of the blade are damaged. Hope this helps you.

I have a Delta heavy duty construction table saw and the blade needs to be alligned to make it cut straight. Nothing appears to be bent. How do I adjust the screws to improve my ctting.

I have the same saw and love it. There are mounting bolt under the table between the blade and the motor. There not ment to be used for adjusting but there is some play. The way to get the best cut is to adjust the fence to the blade. I have a Bessimer fence that adjusts easily with two allan machine screws the push plastic pads against the arms rail. I get cuts that look like DA with 220 was used. Enjoy the saw and good luck.
