$ or $$$?....depends on what type of user you are (running, commute, everyday or weekend user)? do size matter mini or large psp style? how bout sound and features (simple equalizer or or 6 - 10 band)? do wish to carry photos or watch videos also? i would suggest the archos 5 (60 gigs) its new (i have a iriver h100 w/ 60 gig and 1700 battery) yep i beefed it up its was only 10gigs/15-1600 for battery.did this before they had put out iriver h140...dont get me wrong ipods are nice...archos and iriver can record straight from your stereo also...coby,zune,ematic and zen.....i dont know about these featherweights

I just paid $80 for Sansa MP3 player and all i get is, "unsupported media format", when i try to load pictures on it. I really dont have time for this kind of stuff nor do i have more money to invest in...

Make sure you're pictures are in jpeg, jpg or bmp format and that their resolution isn't too high. The best thing to do would be to convert them to a supported format using free programs like gimp, or even paint.
Good luck

I gave 2 Nextar MP3's for Xmas gifts. Neither one will charge. Two people tried & neither had any luck. It's like the cord does not fully connect with the player. How do I get my money back?

Check the NEXTAR website. There should be a number to call depending on you're residence. DO NOT RETURN IT TO THE STORE! YOU WONT GET YOURE MONEY.

Ipod no sound

Unfortunately you will have to get a new circuit board installed. Circuit boards go for $80-100 for a video. It is possible to take the circuit board out of another iPod if you know what you are doing. They are delicate and easily messed up.

Best bet, sell it on ebay and get some money out of it. People buy them for parts. Use the money toward another one. You could also trade it in at an apple store for 10% off a new one. Sorry to give you the bad news.

My computer wont reconize my mp3 player

Down load the firmware on Sansa's website. I have a Sansa 250R and it wouldn't work with the new replacement usb (Griffin) cord I bought at Best Buy. So I bought a Sansa Fuze and the cord that came with it worked on the E250R. Huh? Yeah, go figure...and oh, that replacement Griffin usb cord I bought worked fine with the new Fuze. I came real close to buying a new battery for the E250R but instead invested that money in the Fuze.

Sansa mp3 2.0gb

It is a very delicate operation, but it is possible to take the unit apart and "adjust" the connections in the jack on the player so that the headphone plug fits a little tighter. Its best left to a shop. If you have some basic electronics ability, you can do it yourself and save a ton of money. I had a similar problem with an old transistor radio, I used a rubber band wrapped around the body of teh radio and also the plug (it was a "right angle" That held it in tight enough to work till the radio finally gave up.
