Well assuming the camera hasn't been damaged, make sure of the polarity of the batteries when installing them. Also make sure they are all fresh and of the same kind. If one battery is bad, it will prevent the camera from turning on. If still a problem, use a "Q" tip dipped in alcohol to clean the battery contacts in the camera. If this doesn't solve your problem, contact the mfg about downloading new firmware for the camera... Hope this helps.

I have a canon camera and it wont turn on i bought brand new battries for it and still nothing!

Things to check first for a camera that won't turn on are battery contact points, and micro switches that are located on the battery and memory card doors. Troubleshooting tips on other things that need to be checked may be seen here. These tips won't work for every case, but they're worth a try.

If you are using the NiMH batteries they may be getting hot causing condensation. Try regular battries or wait for the camera to stabalise in the new tempature. If the regular battries work then buy the replacement rechargebal battries because the voltage will vary with tempature also causing errors to the sensors.

Suddenly the camera is not working !!!

You have to try format the memory card in your camera ?
You write, that "setup" is working
Might be the need of memory updating - computer does mainly harms to the camera if used to operate inside of camera ;-(

Own experience and twice - is, that the camera had lost all pictures from memorycard.
Happily enough a program downloaded from the net was helping.

Wish good luck!

Camera wont turn on even with new batteries

In order to narrow down the issue, I suggest you the following steps. 1) First of all we have to power drain the Camera. Take out the battries and unplug adaptor, now hold the power on putton ( Click Button) for a minute this will clear the static power on Camera. If this doesn't fix the issue, Than.... 2) As cam is working fine with Ac adaport and batterys are not working you have to check the cam with the new battries. If you store battries for a long time with out using them, they may result in battery drain. If this doesn't work. 3) Then it need a Physical check, where we can track if Power suply from battries are reaching till its destination or not. This is the way to narrow down the issue. Thanks you.
