Question about Hayward 12v LED Color Logic Pool Light -100ft Cord - SS Face

1 Answer

Our Hayward 120v ColorLogic pool light suddenly stopped working. Hayward boasts 50,000 hours of beautiful lighting. We have had ours for 4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed it. However about 4 weeks ago it just suddenly stopped working. There were no prior indications of any problems. My husband turned it on one day. Then turned it off. When he went back to turn it on a short time later, it just would not come on. We replaced the switch just in case. It still won't work. Incidently, I calculated if we used the light 8 hours every day for the last 4 years (which of course is an outrages amount of time) it would only add up to 11,680 hours. We generally use it only on weekends during the summer months and seldom on weekdays. Any suggestions? Thanks, Melody Permenter

I have 2 light colors in my pool in one of them When I turn them on one just flashes

LIGHT SYNCHRONIZATION If your pool or spa has multiple Hayward ColorLogic LED lights, they may be operated independently, or they can be easily synchronized so they will all display the same colors and shows at the same time. For light synchronization, all lights must be wired to the same switch. Once installed, all lights should be automatically synchronized, however, if they get out of sync, they can be re-synchronized easily. To re-synchronize your lights, turn the switch on, then back off, then wait between 11 and 14 seconds and turn the switch back on. When the lights come back on, they should enter program #1, and be synchronized.

Colorlogic Pool Light flashes like strobe

These swimming pool lights have a power-cycled feature. THis means that you can power down the light and then power back up in 10 seconds and the light pattern will change. It sounds like your light is not cycling properly. Power it down for a full 60 seconds. This will reset the power cycle. Then try turning it on and off in 10 second intervals. If it doesn't reset, you bulb may only be partially functioning and it may need to be replaces.

My hayward colorlogic pool light flashed like a strobe light. After repeatedly turning it off and then on again, it now will flash light for less than a second and then turns off. Spa colorlogic works...

You should check your ground fault and reset if necessary. This particular swimming pool light should cycle through a variety of different light shows by turning the switch on and then off for no more than 10 seconds. If it is not cycling properly, you might be leaving the swith off for longer than 10 seconds or your bulb might have malfunctioned.

My Hayward Colorlogic pool light is flashing like a strobe light

That particular swimming pool light has a power-cycle feature that allows you to change the way your light illuminates your pool simply by turning it off and on. A strobe like effect is one of these power cycles. To change it, simply turn the switch off and then turn it back on within 10 seconds. It should reset to another cycle. It is is left off over 60 seconds, it resets to the first cycle, which could be the strobe. If cycling doesn't solve the problem, your bulb has probably malfunctioned and you are going to have to have a repair tech service it.

Hayward H400 Pool heater will not stay lit

"IF" - Hayward Pool Heater Fails to Ignite: the most common reason for this problem is insufficient gas supply. The Hayward heater LED display will show a diagnostic fault code of "IF" which stands for Ignition Failure. Undetected gas pressure problems if not investigated properly may result in unnecessary replacement and servicing of your Hayward Pool Heater.
