Question about JVC AV-32950 TV

1 Answer

Need manual control board (power, volume, channel and menu push buttons)

My manual push buttons are broken and my remote doesn't work anymore, so I can't turn on the TV.  I'm looking for parts to fix this problem and a original remote.

The power button is pushed into the set so that you can't get to it. The remote is broken so the set is useless. How can you get to the buttons to fix this???

Disconnect the board if you have a real working remote, set will work via the remote without that board---remote sensor is behind screen and above the board.

Power control board for JVC 32" TV, model AV-32050

I bought just the black plastic button part, LC20674-001A-A from jvcservice.com in '07 for $4.86. If that's what you need, I think it's still available.
I am looking for SGV-4011A and having a hard time.

Menu wont work, continuos channel search

Usually, this means that something has spilled into the front of the set and has contaminated the pushbuttons. If one of the channel pushbuttons has fluid in it, the set will just sit there searching for channels and will not respond to any other commands. The computer thinks you are pushing the channel button and responds accordingly. When you push another button the computer does nothing because it thinks that you are pressing 2 buttons at the same time. The board should be cleaned and any contaminated pushbuttons replaced by a qualified tech.
