Micro mini card stuck without adapter in Kodak M1020 Frame

Need to know how to open kodak easyshare m1020 digital frame, have a micro mini card stuck inside without the adapter. took 4 screws out of back still could not open

Answer provided was "Open battery compartment push the micro , it will pop out." But the M1020 does not have a battery compartment, it is operated by a power cable. Can you provide a more detailed answer?

I have put a micro card in a kodak easyshare unable to retrieve

Ok, look for a stick of broom or any other thing that is as tiny as a broom, insert it into the card slot and look for a way to bring the card out with it.

Or maybe you should loose the cover of the easyshare m820/m1020 so that it would be easy for you to access the internal part and it would me more easier for you to remove the card.

Take care.

Your frame will be repaired per warranty guidelines. A product is warranted for 1 year from the date-of-purchase. For an In-Warranty repair, a “Proof-of-Purchase” is required. I dont have software for digital pic frame and dont know how to get pics from comp. to pic frame and i do not want to use my only memory card for pics on frame what do i do please help???

You are able top download Kodak Software on www.kodak.com/go/downloads and follow the prompts, however when connecting your frame it should show as several drives and one of those will open, the rest will give an error when trying to open. You are able to simply drag your pictures into this drive and it will display on the frame. There is no need to install the software.

HOW DO I DOWN LOAD PICTURES FROM EASY SHARE PORGRAM TO PICTURE FRAME?

There is no internal memory in your frame. You can transferre them via the SD card onto the frame. But unfortunantly not irectly onto the frame without a SD card.

Downloaded pictures from camera go all over

You check the frame settings and see if the shuffle option is activated. You need to turn off the shuffle option for the oldest-newest order to take effect. Also, you may want to reset the frame. Press and hold the volume (+) and the power button at the same time to reset the frame to factory default.

Copying pictures from computer to memory card

i have seen this error and i dont know why it does that. you may want to try buying a micro disk setup that fits into a sd adapter that will fit in your camera.

then you can take out the micro disk when full and put it on a usb adapter and plug right into a usb port.

i know this sounds like more work but so far i havent had a lock up on that or error yet. go to tigerdirect.com if you want to see the different adapters for the sd disk and micro disk and usb etc....

maybe this might help
