You might be able to purchase a service manual from pacparts.com.

it could be a dim adjustment. did you hook up the dimmer wire to the factory harness if so and your dash lights are low then thats the issue. if not then check the brightness on the unit. if that is not lowered then the internal lights inside the unit have started to burnout. if thats the case uninstall it and send it in for repairs

calibrating touch screenProblem with Pioneer AVH-P5750DVD Car DVD Player

In order to calibrate the AHV-P5700DVD you need to press and hold the Boost and the + button and then press the reset button with a pen. continue to hold the Boost and + until the screen opens back up and you can see the calibration screen. use the arrow nob on the right to select the menu item, and the A button to select your item.

my screen dont light up, i can kinda see the buttons but there is no light at all, what could be the problem?

i would suggest re doing all the wiring. you may have blown an ic chip inside the unit. if so you will need to get unit repaired

There is a guy on ebay who does that repair service on the Pioneer AVH models. I thinks its $100 and change for the service plus shipping costs. Not a bad deal, beats going Pioneer!
