can i charge milwaukee 18v nicad batt. with a AEG BL9618 charger without any problems. thanks

Does the battery still charge?? The reason I ask is that some tool mfr's are starting to play with the chargers. Insert the battery and remove within 5 seconds and reinsert and then does the noise go aaway or change? Makita has started doing this and also some others. If the battery charges I wouldn't worry too much but try the above method and see.
