If your control panel in the fresh food section is top rear in the middle, the drain should be located behind the controls. If there is a light bulb on both sides of the controls, remove the lenses and the two 1/4" screws holding the control cover. Remove the control knobs and the cover will release. There will be a drain cup. Pull the cup out and flush it with water. If possible, try and use a hose to blow air down through the drain as well.
If this is not the model you have, I will give diferent instructions when I can look this up.

My Kenmore side by side fridge isn't cooling hardly. Feeling the suction and discharge lines I think it's low on freon. How do I charge it?

Well I have to go, so I can't wait for your reply for more info. Basicallty what happened to me was the freezer became very good at freezing. The problem with modern freezer/fridges is that there is only one cooling system, the freezer. The freezer chills the other side to chill the refrigerator. Something was blocking that vent into the fridge side. Turns out it was ice blocking the vent into the refer side. It happens when it is humid and the kids to "shopping" in the fridge and leave the door opened for extended periods of time.

If you are blocked by stuff in your fridge, move it away from the vent. If nothing there, you'll need to get ready for a bit of time. Side-by-side freezer/fridges, typically the freezer is on the left. So, open the fridge, somewhere near the back about 2/3s of the way down, just above the vegetable bin, on the left side. Remove the cover, if something is stuck in there, gently try to remove it. If it is ice, like I had, you should remove your vegetable bin and meat bin and unplug the unit (to prevent shock as water will be everywhere. Be sure that your overflow tray (under the unit) is empty. Next is to make quite a bit of boiling water (I ended up using just over a gallon). If you are at the point where you can't get the cover off, you'll have to use a baster to melt the ice that is holding your vent cover on (that is where I started). Then you can start working on the ice. You need to keep putting water in until you get hot water in the overflow tray. Replace your food and don't slam the fridge control all the way to the coldest setting, you could end up freezing your meat and vegetables.

The repairman came and told us, he could do this for us for $200 or we could do it ourselves. He would have done the exact same thing.

Sears Kenmore refrigerator 18cu frost free. Water constantly flows down the back of the fridge and collects under the vegetable bins. How do I fix it?

sounds like the drain pipe is blocked. turn it round and at the bottom there is a pipe check its not blocked. to clean out use an old curtain wire or something that can get up the pipe and flex.

Water collects in the fresh meat compartment (in refrigerator section). Ice forms on the bottom (under the fresh vegetable bins) of the refrigerator.

Your drain is likely plugged and not allowing the defrost water to drain out. You will need to remove the rear freezer panel and thaw the drain. I would recommend installing a drain heater while you have it apart. They are inexpensive and easy to install. They come with installation instructions.

My vegetables are freezing in the vegetable/meat bin. How can I keep them from freezing?

Check your settings for your thermostat. Turn it down in increment's one letter or one number at a time. Higher letters and numbers normally mean lower temperature. Also, the veg bins have settings also.

Water in bottom of refrigerator under vegetable bins.

there should be a tray that guides water from freezer to a drain located in the fridge section normally held with one screw . take it off and unclog drain ( use a vacuum to **** out sludge) clean tray/guide and mount back on. make sure all moisture is cleaned out after drain is cleared.

this particualr refrig is notorious for this. check your controls ( your freezer control as well set to 4 max) any higher and the refrig is running longer, generating more cold then needed, behind the left hand crisper is a few slots( the fresh air return) by default the coldest spot in refrig, i usuallly would reccomend to my cust not to keep high water or thin walled vegies in there such as carrots cukes tom and lettuce, perfect beer and fresh /frozen defrosting meat to be though, if you ever looked at the newest bottom freezers they've pushed up the drawers and added a deli pantry, running the width of frig
