If the compresor is running and the fan motor by the compresor too, I think there's not freon(gas) in the system beacause a leak, thst could hard to find it,could be in the copper pipes joints ,in the evaporator or in the condenser,to find it you need to presurase the system with freon and look for the leak with a leak detector(electronic, ultraviolet or bubles). Also it could be that the compresor isn't pumping in that case you need to replace it.

Looks either your thermostat is malfunctioning. If thermostat is OK then the problem might lie in loss of refrigerant gas, freon or CF4. Get these 2 items checked in the above sequence..sodeep

SOURCE: 12 volt power lead of
On your fridge freezer at the back there is a box that the fridge freezer 240 lead will go to lift up the box by following the instructions imprinted on the box. Then look at the melted lead and see if it has melted to the bare gold part. if it ant you are ok if it has then you have to take note of where all of the leads go Brown, blue, green/yellow then pull them out being careful to not to full out any over leads Ex. Now for the hard part find some one with a old fridge/freezer and ask them is you can take the lead of the back but make sure if your fridge freezer had an earth wire that there fridge/freezer has and has the same type of connection to plug it back into the part you pulled your lead out of. P.S the earth wire is the Green and yellow one. Then put them in your fridge and make sure the connections are not touching. Because that is probably why the over lead melted.
