Dell AIO got low on ink and I got two replacements (Xprint XP-D4646 and 4640 from printerinks.com). It worked fine for a couple of weeks (although it kept telling me the cartridges were almost empty, but printerinks said to ignore this and disable the ink level detector, which I don't know how to do) and then yesterday it did this (see attachment) and totally blocked the printer. Tried uninstall and re-install, but now installation won't complete. I've got an Epson Stylus Photo RX520 (which I bought when the Dell first gave problems and I needed to do a lot of printing) but the Dell is better as a scanner. Do you know of a driver that will let the Epson scan to pdf format? Both machines purchased in France, where I now live in retirement.
Today it says "Right cartridge incorrect" and Dell AIO Centre has not reappeared in the programs list. First time I got a frame which I couldn't close, saying "Unsupported cartridge", so I uninstalled and re-installed and got "Windows - no disk" frame with "Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c" and buttons for Cancel Try again and Continue.
This morning I re-installed again and got "The procedure entry point ResetCartChangebit@**************etc. could not be located in the dynamic link library dlccutil.dll"

hello You either have to change the ink cartridge or try to clean the ink cartridge nozzles as described in the user manual; http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/924/en/om_en/om_en.pdf On page 54 it states the following:
To clean the ink cartridge nozzles: 1 Load plain paper. For more information, see "Loading Paper" on page 19. 2 In Windows XP, click Start-Control Panel-Printers and Other Hardware-Printers and Faxes. In Windows 2000, click Start-Settings-Printers. 3 Right-click the Dell Photo AIO Printer 924 icon. 4 Click Printing Preferences. The Printing Preferences dialog box opens. 5 Click the Maintenance tab. 6 Click Clean Print Cartridges. 7 If the print quality has not improved, click Print Again. 8 Print your document again to verify the improved print quality. 9 If you are not satisfied with the print quality, wipe the ink cartridge nozzles, and then print your document again.
This happens if you are not using the Dell ink Cartiridges. However there are few work arounds on this issue.
Firstly, Please try to remove cartridges and then clean cartridge slots and make sure that printer is OFF and completed disconnected from Computer. Remove the cable between Printer and Computer while you do this.
After that restart the computer and then try to reconnect every thing and check if this happens
if else, then open the printer properties or printing preferences and locate the option that says Calibrate the cartidges. and do the calibration of cartidges. Calibration is compulsory once if you replace the ink cartidges.
if still fails then reinstall printer software. This should resolve the issue.

Dell's proprietary grip on its printers causes this message to appear with any non-Dell or refilled cartridge. The messages/ink filled levels will only be reset if you buy a new Dell ink cartridge or have a way to update their encoding strip.
The good news is that you can still use refilled cartridges just minimize the level warnings to the task bar and ignore them when they come up. Everything should still print fine.
Thats a cartridge problem. Office max, staples and office depot do not have very good dell compatibles. I've heard since lexmark makes them, they use generic ink for all dell/lexmark. take it back, and go to cartridge world. They have specific inks for dells.
