My dryer stopped working, so I took the top off to inspect the wires and the black are where it connected to the power cord was all black, fried and needed to be replaced. I thought I could just replace the connector or a section of the wire, but you have to replace the whole wiring harness. I see how to hook everything from the front area behind the start buttons and along the side and to the back but the wires extend down the back of the machine behind the drum. Do I have to disassemble the whole unit and pull out the drum to connect the new wiring harness? How difficult is it to pull out the drum? I would appreciate any advice.
Dryers are very easy to repair.
