I have the same blinking problem with a 55" Mitsub. HD1080 series

I have exactly the same blinking problem as this person. My tv is uncontrollably blinking (all all inputs-cable, dvd, game, etc.). Like he says, it just goes black for a half a second and comes back, but then it repeats about 1000 times a day. It has done this before and then gone away for many months. But now it's back with a vengence and won't stop!!! I may go crazy if this doesn't stop. Did the solution recommendation mentioned here work?
