What do you think is wrong with my television, it has sound but no picture. How can I fix the problem?

Hi there
I would go to menu on the remote , from there to picture go down the list, if you do not find anything there to help you. Go to Support and to the E manual .

Sounds like it's on the wrong input, maybe it's analog tuner. Have you tried changing it's input?

Magnavox 37MF23ID, would not turn on. Power button only blinks (green light). We have switched power cords and nothing happens. No picture, no sound.

if the power light comes on but the screen stays black, then your TV might be on the wrong input Channel. for example: you switch inputs when you play games or watch dvds vs. watching regular tv. Try to change the input

Sony 40 lcd t.v no iture no sound, but the power coms on, I have done the usuall, but it still is he sane I hear he relay clicking when I turn it on and of,.

I would encourage you to call Sony if it is under warranty. If it is old, the power supply might be bad, or the picture may have been turned dark. Try using the controls to make the picture lighter or brighter to see if it becomes visible. See if the remote control INPUT button causes any response, you may have accidentally selected an input that has nothing connected, press INPUT until TV is selected.

On the remote control to that tv, after the power is turned on, find and push the input button untill you have a picture. The input button switches where you are receiving your signal from, cable, component, video 1, vedeo 2,,etc,,,.
Hope this helps

When I turn on TV I get a message no video input. We never use video with this tv. Only have it for looking at satelite. The other main tv is working fine. I pressed all the buttons but nothing works.

Sounds like the input accidentally got changed. On the remote that came with the TV, push the INPUT button until you get your satellite picture again. If your SAT. remote is programmed to your TV, push the TV button, then the input button until you see your picture. If this doesn't work then the sat. cable is not securely attached or no longer works.

VS 5001R sounds like its gonna turn on but doesnt

This chassis model line had issues with the vertical output IC shorting causing shut down.
It also had issues with intermittent solder connections in the Horizontal Circuit. I would not try to fix it your self unless you are very familiar with Projection circuitry and electronics background.
Hope this helps,

Black rectangle on screen

Try pressing the "View" button on the remote control a couple times -- it sounds like you have the picture-in-picture mode turned on but with nothing showing on the second input.
