Floor lights and door lights are out 2003 tahoe lt

Your climate system can only cool or heat but not both. The temperature has a big effect on this. The cooling needs the compressor.

First thing to do is try to jumpstart it next you should try to check the starter relay and also check the starter solenoid

One of the most common things is that your interior lights are staying on, check and clean the door switches and make sure they are springing back into position easily with your finger. Also check your rear door latch for the same. Another thing is, if you have lighted vanity mirrors in your visors, those switches can become gummed up as well. One last thing to check is your interior light switches, ie. dome lights, overhead lights etc.

Try pressing the switch by hand and see if this turns it off, if so try some packing on the door where it contacts the switch

the dome lights may be good and have power but do they have a good ground if no this is an easy fix. just run a new ground wire or if you can find the broken wire repair the wire. as for the floor and courtsey lights check and make sure the dimmer switch on the head light switch is not turned up all the way if they are not then unplug the door triggers (the little buttons your door hits to turn the inside lights on and off

Turn your key to the on position(do not start), then push the throttle pedal to the floor three times, turn of the ignition, wait a second or twothen start the engine, this should reset it. Works on the 2000 Tahoe LT 4WD

best place for that is the wreking yard
