I would suggest calling your isp on how to configure your laptop to connect to them, usually they will give you the proper configuration of your Network settings (ip, gateway etc) and the right config for your internet browser.

How do i connect to the internet i changed me service?

hi Inga.
see if this helps you out.
To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections. If your DSL or cable modem is always connected and your ISP does not require a user name and password, you do not need to run the New Connection Wizard.
How do you get access to the Internet? Internet Service Providers (ISPs) If you want to access the internet at home, you'll need an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and a router to connect to the ISP. ISPs often provide a router with their service. This means more than one computer or device in your house can use the broadband connection at the same time.

What is my ISP?

Your ISP means Internet service provider.
not sure if they want IP address or company name of provider.
if you mean your WiFi you may have to do that at your home location to connect and enter your network password.
Then once connected they should be able to pair.
your notebook should have wifi settings under network wireless connection.

All the lights on my Westell Model 6100 are green except the internet light is red. What does that mean? Thank you!

The reason why your internet light is red for the westell model 6100 is because it is not yet configure. You need to access the gui of this modem. Enter the username and password for your internet connection. You will get the username and password from your ISP. You can contact your ISP provider so they can walk you through for the steps on how to configure your new router.

I dont know haow to connect Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster WRT54GS - wireless router

  1. Connect your modem to the Internet port of the router. Your computer needs to be connected to one of the 4 Ethernet ports at the back of the router.
  2. Access the router's setup page by launching Internet explorer and typing 192.168.1.1.
  3. It will ask for a username and password. Leave the username blank and password is admin.
  4. Once your in the setup page, set "Internet connection type" with what your ISP requires you to have.
  5. If you have cable ISP, usually it is "Automatic Configuration-DHCP."
  6. But if you have DSL ISP, then it will be PPPoE. You need to know your username and password from your ISP.
  7. Better yet, verify your Internet connection type from your Internet service provider.
Hope this helps!
