Defective Door interlock swiches ? Does it happen as soon as you close the Door or when you operate the microwave ?If it happens only on operating the microwave , check HV Capacitors HV Diode , Protection Diode and finally the Magnetron itself for shorts

Every oven, every microwave comes with an instruction manual, a user guide and an installation guide. Just look in the box. what use if I have to type over a manual, you already have? (Should have) (can get on the net)

SEEING AS HOW YOU USED IT THE NIGHT BEFORE, THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE THAT YOU MAY HAVE BLOWN A FUSE OR A THERMAL CUT OUT (TCO) THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT FUSES IN THIS MICROWAVE. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN SALVAGING THE MICROWAVE BECAUSE YOU LIKE IT, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CALLING A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL TO FIX THIS UNIT BECAUSE THIS UNIT IS HIGH VOLTAGE WHEN IT'S RUNNING AND HAS VERY HIGH POTENTIAL TO KILL YOU. BE VERY SAFE WHILE INSPECTING ANY FUSE FOR CONTINUITY (0OHMS OF RESISTANCE ON YOUR METER.) NOTE THAT SOME THERMOSTATS IN THIS UNIT LOOK LIKE TCOS.

The magnetron may be defective. You can replace the magnetron, there is no other possibility.

Possible that the lock switch had broken or that the alignment of the lock is offset. You can remove the front panel by removing the screws on the sides and slide out the panel to get a view of the lock which wil confirm the case. If so the lock must be replaced or if broken and the piece is found within , it can be stuck together using instant glue.

If tis is brand new, by all means call the service people. there is a warrenty on this and you can void it if you repair this yourself. Call the store where you bought this and talk to them about service or replacement.

The fan that cools the magnetron also helps exhaust water vapor. Does the fan sound as strong as it used to? Is the vent at the back of the microwave clean? Sometimes lubing fan motor bearings with light machine oil will speed up the fan. You would have t remove the cover to gain access.

some moisture is necessary for microwave to work . the problem is not from the moisture . For your saftey please do not open the unite cover . Get someone to look at it
