For 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD 5.2L MFI 8cylthe Crankshaft Position Sensor is located under hood, center, rear engine area, passenger side of transmission bellhousing, mounted on bellhousing (click image for zoom)...
Fig. 5: Electronic engine control component locations-5.2L and 5.9L engines
Hope helps (remember to rate and comment this answer).
CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR LOCATION FOR 4.0L ENGINE IS ON TRANSMISSION BELLHOUSING AT THE LEFT REAR OF THE ENGINE. FOR 5.2L ENGINE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR LOCATED ENGINE BLOCK BEHIND THE RIGHT CYLINDER HEAD.
The camshaft position sensor is located inside the distributor. It is a hall effect swich, simply remove the distributor cap and the rotor and you can lift it out, unplug and replace.
Have fun but beware a bad crankshaft position sensor can cause a false cam sensor code to be set sometimes.
Good luck.
