How can I connect to internet using Window7

first of all fine the ip address of your router. Mine, for instance, is yours may be slightly different then follow the below steps. I should just explain, before we start, that the IP address of your router is the number you must type into the browser s address barr to access the control software. anyway, follow below directions.....

How to retrieve a password or change the password for a wireless network from the router

Get an ethernet cable and plug your computer to the router with it..Click on your browser and in the address bar type the IP address for your particular router. (You can find this by googling the make and model of your router and the wordsIP ADDRESS.)

you will then be presented with the page after which you will have access to the router's control software. The page asks for username and password, they should, if they have not been altered from default, both be the word admin

Having entered these and pressed the enter button you should be in the control menus. Look for the wireless networking option, find it , click on it and you should find yourself in a screen on which your network's ID, (also known as SSID,) and password are displayed.
There may or may not be the option of turning the radio / wirelesssection off
temporarily...if it is available click on it to stop the wireless from broadcasting...if the option is not listed it obviously cannot be done!
Next, highlight the network password and delete it, then insert your new password, making a note of it and remembering that it will be case sensitive.
Make sure you SAVE THE CHANGES
Next ... If you have shut wireless/radio down reactivate it.
Then exit the utility.
Advanced users might want to create a password for getting into the router.
Anyway, after having exited detach the ethernet lead and click on your browser and click on the wireless networking/connection icon in the system tray, highlight your network and click on the connect button. You will then be presented with the option of entering your new password which should be entered exactly as you wrote it when in the router. You should, after a wait of a few seconds, be connected to the internet. Hide the new password and your ethernet cable if you have not put a new admin password on the router.

How to fix a DLL error on your computer

A common question I get asked all the time is how do I fix DLL errors? In almost all cases DLL errors are caused by a corrupt system registry. You need to clean and repair your Windows registry to correct these errors. While this can be done manually if you are an experienced computer technician it is usually not recommended.
Altering the Windows registry can be very complicated. Alter or delete the wrong file in your computer may not start up again or become unusable. There is much safer way. You can download and run software that is made for the job and safe to use. Since Windows does not come with anything for registry cleaning and repair you will have to download one from a third-party. The ones recommended on our main page are all safe and thoroughly tested.
So if you have DLL errors on your PC and need to repair them just follow the simple procedure. Download one of the registry repair programs from our main page, install it and run a scan on your computer, when it has completed and detected all the errors click the fix errors button. You may have to restart your computer, however after that all your DLL errors should be completely gone your PC running as smoothly as when you first bought it.
There are some free program for registry cleaning but they’re not recommended. Most of them don’t do a thorough job therefore they miss a lot of errors. Then there are some that are poorly written and may damage your computer deleting files your PC needs making it worse off than it was before.
DLL errors are caused by corrupt registry entries. You can get these from poorly written software, installing or uninstalling software, viruses or spyware, improper shutdowns and driver errors. Scanning and cleaning your registry is like giving your PC a good tuneup, most people notice an improvement in speed and performance. The registry is one of the most often overlooked systems on personal computers. Regular maintenance should be performed on it to keep your computer running smooth.

Bios error - won't boot - clock or BIOS time keep getting altered

Firstly, replace the small watch battery on the motherboard.

Secondly, look at the motherboard and get the model number off it, example Msi 6472-1. Then look up the motherboard model on the manfactures website, and there should be a updates or update bios tab or link. Click and follow on screen instructions. Some manfactures automatically identify your board on their update page.

In the system settings, press del on boot up, ensure clock speed is set to auto or to manual what it should be at, same with the ram settings.

As a last resort, sometimes dust build up on the processor pins or ram causes silly errors, simply remove, safely clean and reinstall.

Lastly, is there a application in the task menu of windows that can alter the clock speed depending on usage? Check settings.

Ford alternater

Yes, no problem. Most of today's alternators are a 1 wire type, with built-in regulators. Just pick out one from 'pep boys' er elsewhere; they can detail the connections for you. All that is left is to make a bracket to adapt to the old ones location.

Only from the same series of processors. The System Information screen should tell you what is in, but I have found that most laptops do not support altered speeds.

I am reformatting the hard disk of my desktop computer and I used to have altered some changes in the BIOS. Now when I restarted the computer then inserted the OS into the CD-ROM player but nothing...

you could noot have lost the BIOS unless you did so with a DOS disk inserted into the A drive with the wrong BIOS update. try buying a new $2 2032 battery (looks like a quarter on your mobo) at STAPLES scan number 41333 54210 which is a medical lithium batter duracell DL2032B2.
replace batter which will reset BIOS to factory fail safe defaults. you should get a post telling you to reset new date F1 key to resume, then hit DELETE to enter BIOS or whatever key to enter your BIOS> reset new date, time, and reboot with OS in the CD drive. must be a BOOTABLE CD
(ISO image file). you did not say what OS you had. if XP it does not have SATA drivers, so if your hard drive is SATA you have to go to the MOBO website on another computer, download the SATA and RAID drivers to floppy for A drive.
If no A drive you have to SLIPSTREAM the drivers into an ISO BOOTABLE disk with NLITE. exe

Dear Karen,
protected mode:
Protected Mode is an important step forward in security for Internet Explorer (IE); it helps protect users from attack by running an IE process with greatly restricted privileges on Windows Vista. While Protected Mode does not protect against all forms of attack, it significantly reduces the ability of an attack to write, alter, or destroy data on the user's machine or to install malicious code.

unknown Zone:

In the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, a site may be identified as belonging to an "unknown zone". This means Internet Explorer could not determine if the site belongs to the Local Zone, the Trusted Zone, the Restricted Zone or the Internet Zone. It may mean the page contains a mixture of content - some of which is from the Trusted Zone, and some from another zone.
