Auto/On set to ON. Fan runs.

Sounds like the thermostat, the way to verify is to unplug indoor unit, remove thermostat, take pic of wiring with phone or label the wires as to the terminals. Carefully twist the yellow,(Y) Red (R) and the green (G) together. Plug the furnace back in, if the unit operates normally, replace the thermostat. I am basing this on the fact that the blower speed is changing. This could also be an anomaly within the circuit board in the furnace section, not likely though as the outside unit (condenser) is not controlled n by the indoor board unless this is a heat pump. hope this helps. I have a springdale travel trailer with a dometic ac system. When I turn the air on, with the fan in the auto position on the thermostst, the compressor turns on and runs, but the fan does not. The...

Neither.
The fan should run in the 'auto' position.
If it runs (on hi and lo settings) then I doubt if anything is wrong with the fan motor.
I would think your thermostat is bad and needs replacing.

I have a coleman model 8333A8664 a/c unit on a fleetwood camp trailer and was wondering what watt generator would be needed to run it properly?

Because it won't be powering just your AC, I would recommend 5000W. It's that big amp draw when compressor kicks in that will pull it way down, if not strong enough. Take for example the fact that a dedicated 20 amp breaker and cable are the norm for RV's to use for AC now. Double check also that the generator your purchasing will take a momentary surge draw of up to 20+ amps without tripping breaker on generator. I say 20+ because once RV is plugged in or wired to generator, it will be powering any other hydro operated appliances, lights, converter etc that the trailer has on board. I bought a cheapie rated at 4000W, and 3000 running watts, but it kicks out the breaker just trying to start my portable air compressor, rated at 15 amps.

I have a Carrier RV Air V air conditioner. I turn

Have fan start capacitor checked/replaced by licensed tech, or electrician as they are very dangerous to work with if not experienced and can give a very high voltage shock, that could be fatal. They basically store and increase voltage to higher range for start up of fan and compressor.

Own 2005 27.5' Wildwood Trailer with a Dometic a/c ducted unit. Last few times out it freezes up initially first few times (pocked circuit breaker once then I turned it off after few minutes second time)....

Don't block off any ceiling ducts and see what happens. If you've closed off any forced air ducts, the unit will freeze up, if too many are closed off. Also, if you shut unit off (compressor) give it 5 or 10 minutes before you turn it back on.

Unit won't turn on

WHEN A COMPRESSOR FIRST STARTS TO RUN THERE IS AN INITIAL HIGH STARTING CURRENT(30 AMPS PLUS),BUT THIS SHOULD DROP BACK DOWN TO RUNNING CURRENT PRETTY QUICKLY.IF IT MAINTAINS THIS HIGH STARTING CURRENT FOR A WHILE THEN THIS GENERALLY INDICATES THE COMPRESSOR AT FAULT,BUT!!!!! ALSO CHECK TO SEE IF THE FAN IS NOT SEIZED. DISCONNECT THE FAN ELECTRICALLY THEN RUN THE UNIT. IF THE STARTING CURRENT MAINTAINS APPROX 6 AMPS THEN THE FAN IS AT FAULT!........HOPE THIS HELPS!!

RV A/C blower not working and keeps kicking out

If blower not working, and yoou hear a slight "Hum" with fan only on, try this. With power off to AC. Go up on roof, and slide a stick through opening on side near rear, and try to get to fan blades at rear of unit. try to spin the blades a few times, even if it only goes a little at a time. Unless you want to take all those screws out & remove cover to get at it better, but watch for wasps under there. Give fan a couple of full rotations, then have someone turn it on to fan only & see what happens. If fan finally works, let it run for a few minutes on fan, then try cool & see if it all comes together again. Let me know.
