But you can re-attempt the install based on the instructions once more as you might have accidentally skipped a step.

Visit the Asus official website and download your system model specific drivers.
If you are unable to recognize the drivers for your motherboard then i would suggest to use a driver finder software that will search for the missing and outdated drivers online.

Ok, so i'm taking that you mean a Asus motherboard model number P5GL-MX here is the link to asus's driver site, you will have to enter motherboard for the first question, socket775 for the second question and that model number right there for the third question. http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
