SOURCE: Blinking Light on Mitsubishi SL4SU Projector

To jmatthews

Both power light and status light a solid red with no response to any buttons indicates the bulb timer has expired. You need to reset the timer by pressing and holding the left arrow key, the right arrow key and the power button all at the same time for a few seconds.

If there are no problems, the projector will fire up, but you must replace the bulb as it will fail soon and perhaps explode when it does.

Take care

SOURCE: power light blinking red

if the lamp goes out after the red led goes on, there is a fan issue and the projector is overheating or the ballast/power supply can't hold the voltage.

SOURCE: Projector screen turns off after 10-20 seconds

Is the projector receiving a source signal? if not it will power itself down after whatever time you have it set to do so when no signal is present.
Just an idea?

SOURCE: the projector lamp does not turn on

I have done this on several of our PT-LB50U's with sucess every time.Remove lamp cover and lamp. Then remove top of case by removing 6 screws on bottom.Remove metal shroud that would cover lamp 2 screws and remove 2 screws that hold lamp plug and move it away. You will see a little blue lever for saftey switch move it back and forth from top and bottom put back together and should turn on.

Viewsonic projector Pro 8200 will not start / get out of standby mode

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy.

Mitsubishi HC3000 Power light blinking red and green.

I had a similar issue. I put a brand new bulb in. Turns out the little door covering the lamp access wasn't fully closed. So I reclosed it and the blinking was replaced by solid red. Works now.

When I turn the projector, i hear clicking from my AV receiver, the MITSUBUSHI screen then blue screen shows up on the wall, but then it says no signal: then the projector goes to standby without me doing...

The problem is most likely a warped plastic housing around the color wheel. When the wheel is forced to stop, the projector will go to standby and the lights indicate a problem.
