Uneven borders how do i fix it

If you are trying to do this by setting borders manually you are probably running into the Canon's minefield of "minimal printed borders" which throw off calculations. The manual setting is primarily for off-setting images rather than for perfectly centered images.
For a centered image, the borders are automatically set by the relationship of image sizing to paper size, with "center image" checked and other sizing options unchecked. This has worked perfectly in the three Canon printers I've owned, whereas trying to set even borders manually was always off a bit and a real pain.
If you want the same border width for all sides, the aspect ratio of the paper and image will have to be different, strangely enough, for all but square images. For 1" borders all around on 10x15 paper, e.g., your 2:3 AR image will have to be cropped and sized to 8X13" dimensions.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

Canon Scanner DR-2580-C (Black lines around border of document)

It seems that your scanner is conflicting with previously installed software. It is impossible to say whether it is Canon or Adobe. Reinstalling Acrobat or updating it may work as trying a different folder like Desktop instead of My Documents. One or more drivers are at fault. What system are you running? 2000, XP, Linux? Update your video rendering software too. Let me know so that I can help solve this issue. Just try as mentioned first.

I have a sony hvr-z1j...and when I log filmed footage onto the computer there is a thick black border around the (16:9 or 4:3) visuals. There is no sign of the border on the lcd screen or viewfinder when...

Ha this sounds like you may have accidently pressed the AV button, it has special borders and setting within the camera, these are used for title effects and other tricks, just press the button again a couple of time filming and see if it vanishes.

Problem with printing borders, and with cartridge.

Hmm, I got the same problem once in my university LABs.
What i do was the same you have done, but do try again because if "some side" of the border is not been printed, then its the "Border Setting".

Try using Ms Word 2007.(I guess you are already using it)
Goto Page Layout Tab > click Page Borders (Borders and Shading dialogue will appear) > Then insert a border, apply it.

Now again go there, and this time in the bottom right corner of the dialogue box, you will see Options button, click it.

Make the Margins Maximum (31pts) (Measure from : Edge of Page)

if this doen't work, then;

You can also change the margins but now (Measure from : Text)

But the first one works for me perfectly.
before doing this all also re-insert your blx/wht cartirdge.
