Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I presume the filter is broken and does not just need cleaning?

You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer spares' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can order. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number.
Alternately you could try the Yellow Pages for spares suppliers but I would think the former would be more successful.
    Good luck,

Whirlpool Quiet Wash II - LSQ9010PW2 Machine works great but intermittently does not completely spin for larger loads. Seems like something is slipping.

you can check the motor coupling to see if it's rounded in the middle and check to see if there's any oil on the floor or around the tranny, you can slide the washer forwards around 12 inches and tilt it back and rest it against the wall and check with your hand to see if you can feel any oil on the tranny,or use a paper towel to check it.if it's the tranny you'll have to decide if you want to sink 300 bucks into this washer or buy a new one.let me know what you find.the coupling is behind the motor, pop off the two metal clips on the pump and slide it off the motor shaft, remove the two screws and clips on the motor and slide that out and you'll see the coupling on the back of the motor and the other half of the coupling will be on the tranny

    What is its capacity

Overall home/domestic washers have similar capacities:

Front loaders: between 15 and 20 pounds capacity.
Top loaders: between 10 and 12 pounds capacity.

The best way to determine if you are not overloading your washer is by loading your clothes in the washer making sure it is loosely full of clothes "do not push the load down" to make room for more.

Lsq9010pw2 washing machine won't do anything tried giggling master switch

Hi, check the following trouble spots below. you will find the issue in one or, all the areas stated.

    1. No power to the washer Make sure there's power getting to the washer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the washer, if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.
    2. Lid switch/door latch The washing machine may not function if the lid switch or door latch mechanism is defective. The switch is usually located near the door. Replace if found defective.

**If you are getting power to the washer and, setp 1 and 2 check out ok, replace the timer control or control Board and start switch as well.(You can test the continuity or, resistance level of the Lid/door swicth with a multimeter(ohm).

What is the capaity of 2005 Kenmore Elite Washer and Dryer, models 110?

Starting in early 2002, the capacity sizes were changed around a little bit. A normal sized washer now all have the same sized tubs (pretty much) in the 110 series (Whirlpool Manufactured) washers. The capacity is now rated somewhat by the agitator action the washer comes with. Depending on the type of agitator you have, will determine the capacity. King size capacity means you have a pretty good capacity (size wise) than others. You have normal capacity, large capacity, super capacity, king capacity, and I even think they have canyon (yes canyon) capacity. Capacity sizes dont really mean to much though. In order for you clothes to get clean, the must have room in the tub to move. The must be able to float up, then get pulled down by agitator action. That should determine the size of what goes in the washer. Always use same type clothing when doing laundry (i.e. towels with towels, sheets with sheets, etc, this will keep the load balanced better). Watch what you load, comforters are ok (per manufactures ok) but I do not tlike the idea unless its a front loader, and only by itself. Let me know if this helps you out any.

WHAT IS THE LOAD CAPCITY SIZE OF WASHER MODEL 110.20702990

On newer, and sometimes a little newer, Whirlpool and Kenmore (Kenmore is made by Whirlpool) considers a few things in determing capacity. Most of the inner baskets are the same size, but they also add in agitator action into the mix. A Kenmore with an auger top agitator would have higher capacity than a Kenmore with just a normal agitator, even though it has the same sized drum. So a super capacity washer would have theoretically less CLEANING CAPACITY than a super capacity plus. The agitator action is actually what determines capacity on these models. So, with that in mind, cubic load should be about the same on both units. Sorry that I had to go into "Bill Nye The Washer Guy" mode, but thats about the only way to describe. Let me know if I can confuse you any more haha. Seriously though, if you need further help or info, write back, and will try to get you some other information. Remember, this theory only works on top load "normal people" washers, not the front loaders.
