When I turn on the oven and press on bake I get the broiler instead. It gets too hot and shuts down with the error code F6E1. I tried the control bake, convection oven, and steam clean but all I get is the broiler to turn on. The top works fine. I turned the breaker off and restarted the unit but that didn't fix it.

I just did the self clean option and when it was done I received the error code E1 -F5- and it does have to do with the door latch. After turning off the power to the stove I was able to open the door and wiggled the latch and that solved the problem.......

the broiler came on automatically??? not a sensor issue. sounds as if you have a broken wire perhaps, or a faulty control panel energizing the broil element w/o being prompted to. does it say its broiling when element comes on??

good day, i suggest to check all inside wiring and switch. thanks

replace the ignitor for the oven. it's the lower one and not the one on top.
SOURCE: No Bake; everything else works
Hi, When you put the oven on bake, can you see the ignitor glowing but get no flame?
Sound like the ignitor might be getting weak and not opening the gas valve. Please let me know if this sounds like the problem.
It is common for the ignitor to go bad. Even if it glows, it can be bad.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
