You need to remove the cover that hides the 4 screws that hold the stand to the monitor. There are 3 pieces to the pedestal base. The base plate, the pedestal, and the screw cover. To remove the screw cover, look on the back where the pedestal attaches to the monitor. There is a cover just above the pedestal. Pinch the top left and top right sides (about one inch from edge) to unclip the cover. Remove the 4 silver screws (2 on each tab) and put them in a ziploc bag to avoid losing them. Tape them to the pedestal/base and cover.

You may have a bad cable or the cable is running too close to a power supply or power cable. This can cause distortion and shadowing. Try moving or replacing the cables or the monitor to make sure it's away from any power sources.

on laptop you have function key and f4 key hold the functio key and keep pressing f4 that would bring options to change view select the that you want.

try changing the resolution on your computer. and there should be an auto button on the screen or in the screen menu

YOU HAVE A DRY SOLDER PROBLEM, You have to open the monitor and check the solders in the PC BOARD , mainly where theres A SMALL transformer resolder it , and try again ,that should fix it . hope it helps
