I have an Intermatic T104R201. Recently the dial stopped rotating - it was due to the clock motor (I confimred that it was not working thru the visual inspection slot). I replaced the clock motor with WG1573-10D and kept all the wiring the same. Now I can see that the clock motor is working but the dial is still not rotating. What am i missing? Thanks.

Take it apart and look at the gears. Clean up the gears and timer. make sure dial is all the way down into place.
Check that white clock wires are connected to terminals 1 and 3
WH40 timer is same mechanism as T104R201 except without fireman's switch.

SOURCE: intermatic model T1O4R stopped working. time dial

Can you turn the load ON and OFF with the manual switch? If not, the circuit breaker supplying the timer has probably tripped. Turn the breaker OFF, then back ON. Sometimes a breaker will trip, but it looks like it's still ON.
If you are getting 240 volts at the timer from the breaker, and if you can also manually turn the clock dial, then the timer motor is bad.

T104R201 dial not rotating

If you loosen the screw holding the yellow dial, it will result in dial not moving.
Another issue is dirty gear parts binding... which causes the plastic gears on clock motor to strip.
Following link has general maintenance tips:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Photos-of-WH40-timer.html

make sure your clock wires are connected to terminals 1 and 3, same as hot wires from breaker.
The load (pump etc) must be connected to terminals 2 and 4.

The timer stopped working, so the system is only working on manual mode. what could be the issue?

If timer dial is not rotating, then check for power to timer.
If timer has power, and dial is not rotating, then replace clock motor.
If trippers are worn down, then replace trippers.

30 yr old Dayton timer 2e214 clock motor good gears good, however dial movement spins freely

Dayton 2e214 is Grainger number that corresponds to Intermatic 120Volt T7801B 7-day timer.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Electromechanical-Timer-2E214
http://www.intermatic.com/products/ec%204%20layer/mechanical%20time%20switches/24%20hour%207%20day/t7000b%20series%207-day%20time%20switch.aspx

If the dial rotates freely, the gears are probably worn out or the clock motor is not connecting to gears any more, or the dial has come loose.
The replacement clock motor is WG1600-11, BUT I don't know if that motor will fix problem.
Turn power off, and release mechanism using thumb spring located top inside box and inspect gears while rotating dial.

My Intermatic T104P3 timer will not turn the pump on. The manual switch works and it does turn off, as set.

1) Manual switch is working, and that says electricity, circuit breaker, wiring, and pump are good.
If timer dial is rotating and keeping good time, then order new 156T1978A trippers.
If dial is not rotating, then order 240Volt WG1573 clock motor.

How do I program this timer?

T104R3 is ordinary 240V T104 timer mechanism inside a beige metal weathertight enclosure.

You posted under Malibu power packs:
Open following link for troubleshoot steps, manuals, warranty information:

If timer dial is no longer rotating, the clock motor is bad.
There are no replacement clock motors for Intermatic/ Malibu.

Work around problem: buy cheap plug-in timer, set power pack to override, and plug power pack into cheap timer.

My Intermatic timer is not working. I replaced the WG1573-10D motor but still it does not work. The manual override works so the power supply is ok. Any suggestions welcome.

Your question doesn't provide enough information.

You have 240Volt T104 Intermatic timer?
A) WG1573 is for 240 volt timer. If you have T101 or T103 timer, it takes 125V clock motor.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Time-Clock-Motor-1PNK1?Pid=search

B) This is new installation? and clock motor only worked when override was ON, so you bought new clock motor. But actual problem is that wires from Load and Breaker are reversed.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html

C) Your timer worked fine in past years, but dial stopped rotating so you bought new clock motor?
You replaced clock motor.
Manual override works.

--And then your information ends.
Does clock motor work? Does the dial turn? Are your on-off trippers on the dial?
Are tripper worn down?
Buy new trippers.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Timer-Tripper-2E054?Pid=search

If clock motor does not work, and circuit is 240Volts, then I suspect you connected clock motor to wrong terminals>? Clock motor connects to terminals 1 and 3.

Add a comment and fill in details so we can properly troubleshoot.

Power is good going into the timer but the timer is not running. I am wondering if there is a fuse that needs to be changed or a reset switch? The timer has been replaced in the last year.

If I understand correctly, you have T-104 240V timer.
Timer was running fine before, and recently stopped working.
If this is not your timer, add a comment.

1) Click manual override back and forth to see if Load turns on-off.
If Load does not turn on-off, then check power at Load.
Timer has 5 terminals A 1 2 3 4
Check terminals 2 and 4 for 240Volts when Load is ON

2) Check terminals 1 and 3 for 240Volts to make sure timer has full 240V and breaker is not tripped OFF on one leg. If timer has 120V, it appears to have voltage, but clock will not rotate and Load will not turn on-off. Check breaker for 240V across both screws.

3) Is dial rotating?
If dial is not rotating or is stuck in place, replace 208-277V clock motor.
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/timer-accessories/timers/electrical/ecatalog/N-8hi
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Time-Clock-Motor-1PNK2?Pid=search

4) If dial is rotating, but trippers don't flip on-off lever, then trippers may be worn down. Buy new trippers.

5) How to wire T104 timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html

How timer works
:
Clock motor rotates dial.
ON-OFF trippers on dial contact lever.
ON tripper pushes lever one direction.
OFF tripper pushes lever other direction.
Lever moves electrical contacts together, or pulls contacts apart.
When lever moves on-off, manual override lever also snaps back and forth with audible clicking sound.

I having troble with my t103 timer to turn the lights on manualy i try to set the timer but for some reason doesn't work what can i do ???

T103 Intermatic timer has 120Volt clock motor and can control 120V or 240V Loads.
Wiring for timer is shown on following link:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html#T103

Troubleshoot T103:
1) Manual override is working correctly, and it snaps crisp and clean, and Load turns on-and-off.
That means timer is basically good.

2) Next look to see if yellow dial is rotating.
If dial is not rotating, then 120Volt clock motor needs to be replaced.
Take photo of wiring and mark wires before starting.
Remove two white wires connected to screw terminals 1 and A.
Snap timer mechanism out of box, clock motor is on back of timer.
Use small star screwdriver to remove old clock motor.
Reattach white wires on terminals 1 and A, tighten screws very tight.
Reset current time: lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.
Grainger sells 125V clock motor:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Time-Clock-Motor-1PNK1?Pid=search

3) If dial is rotating, but gets stuck at certain times, or runs slow, then replace clock motor.

4) If dial is rotating, and trippers are attached to dial, but timer does not turn ON, then trippers are worn down and need to be replaced.
Grainger sells the T103 trippers
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Timer-Tripper-2E054?Pid=search

5) How Intermatic mechanical timers work:
Dial with ON-OFF trippers is rotated by clock motor.
Trippers on dial contact ON-OFF lever.
ON tripper pushes lever one direction.
OFF tripper pushes lever opposite direction.
Lever moves electrical contacts on back of timer that turn Load ON-OFF.
Manual override lever clicks back and forth with each ON-OFF action.
