Codes for Sylvania TV

Are you talking about codes for the remote? If so, Sylvania usually does not work with the codes supplied in the booklet. What you need to do is look in the booklet for the alternate programming method. It will tell you which buttons you need to push to set it up, then you will have to push a given button until it finds the code on its own, and responds by either turning the set off, or changing a channel.
