I just got my Icetech Keo today and when i turned the power button, my thing won't turn on! I'm right now recharging it... see if that works.. Can you please help me and tell me how to turn this mp4 on? Thank you.
KEO MP-833, MP-837 - you may have a dead battery if it doesn't turn on, or you may have also used a wrong firmware upgrade (bad idea to upgrade your player if you are not 200% sure you have the right firmware).
KEO MP-407, MP-405 - these can be turned ON by pressing and holding the PLAY BUTTON, when the power slider is in ON position.
or check the manufacturers' website. here comes the difference between KEO, ZUNe, iPOD - where you can get tech support. and some generic no-name mp3/mp4 player.

Sounds like you may have a dodgy power button, you have a 1 year warranty I would call or e-mail sum vision, I have one of these systems and there not bad I've not had a power button problem though. Hope this helps!
If the rechargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.
