Question about Epson Stylus C66 Inkjet Printer
I purchased this printer 2 or 3 years ago and I never really used it a lot,I just reinstalled it after not having used it for one year. The installation is correct and ready to use,I put some new cartridges but the printing (I mainly print musical sheets) is not perfect, some lines are missing, the allignement seems o.k though.Of course I got help from some infos on line and I cleaned the head several times as suggested from the manual but the result is still the same,no improvement, what should I do?
If it sat for a long time, then some of the nozzels are probably clogged. Running the clean feature helps, but it probably won't work a hundred percent. The best way is to disassemble the whole thing, take the printhead out, and clean the nozzels with a sopping wet cloth. That takes some doing, and there's no manual to tell you how...you just gotta tinker till you can get it apart.
If that still doesn't help, it's probably shot.
