I have try to set up my Akai lcd 27 combo tv to work with my diretv dvr remote but the codes given by diretv setup do not work - anyone knows what code number to use?

it would seem the akai remote codes you have are not programed in the remote you should wright to akai and tell them 1000s of people you have chatted to have the same problem is there any way you could send me a replacement please or could you give me the codes and i will program them my self thank you hope you get this email or letter or phone call what have you to lose.

I have the Akai LCT2715N Flat Panel Tv and also cannot program my directv remote to control the on off feature.
