Question about Fuji Finepix F50FD Digital Camera
This Fuji Finepix F50FD is a replacement for an earlier version that I had for about 2 yrs. The F50fd has considerably advanced capabiolities but I don't like the finepix program. In the earlier camera I could take the data card out of the camera, put it nto the laptop, and in just a few minutes I was sending a report with photos attached describing the situation.
Is there anyway a jpeg format picture can come off the data card without all the filing and sorting and modifying of a program I so don't want in my computer?
Uninstall the Fuji Finepix Viewer software from your laptop. Use the Windows operating system to download and access your images through "my computer". If you are using the card slots in your laptop, the card should show up in my computer. If the card slots are not compatable with your new card, you can plug the camera into a USB slot, or use a card reader which will plug into the USB port. If you shoot at full (12 megapixel) resolution, the files may take longer to transfer than you are accustomed. Try downsizing the file size in the camera menu prior to shooting.
