RESET ALL Button

I'm convinced you already did read the user manual. There are three things you can reset:
1. User settings. In menu mode P, you can undo all the settings you made. Page 69.
2. Reset all settings. Page 151 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset all. All settings will be restored to factory settings.
3. Reset file numbering. Page 154 Menu settings, chose the wrench symbol and chose reset file numbering.
In the same menu is also the view firmware version. Yours should read Coolpix P90 Ver.X.X .
The latest update of firmware for the P90 is 1.1 Great chance your camera came with that revision already. If you registered your camera with Nikon, they will inform you when a new firmware is released.
Really, there is nothing more you can reset on the camera.
So if something is wrong, it can't be helped with the reset you have in mind, because that reset does not exist.
If you want the firmware 1.1, goto Nikon USA and support. Everything you want is there.

I have error code e106 on my 733 hp camera, whatis that?

CausesThese errors display because the lens will not move. There are several reasons why the camera lens might not move:
  • something is blocking the lens
  • the firmware version is old
  • the camera has been abused
  • foreign material is inside the lensor
  • the lens is loose or completely off the track
SolutionFollow all of the steps listed below.
  1. Perform a power reset on the camera.
    1. Turn off the camera and remove any optional memory card.
    2. Hold the ON/OFF switch in the ON position until the HP logo displays and then disappears.
    3. The camera is now reset. When the camera is turned back on it should prompt for the date and time.
  2. If the camera does not display an error after the reset and appears to be functioning properly, it is imperative to check and update the firmware. The firmware update corrects the lens positioning issue that can cause E104, E105, and E106 errors with the camera.Determine if an update is needed by following the steps below to check the current version of the firmware on the camera:
    1. Before turning the camera on, press and hold the Flash button.
    2. While the Flash button is depressed, turn on the camera. A Service Screen displays.
    3. Located at the bottom of the screen is an entry, F/W.
    4. If the version of the firmware is lower than 1.12, then the firmware update is required and should be performed immediately.

IT WON'T TURN ON, I'VE CHANGED THE BATTERIES FOR NEW ONES AND STILL NOTHING

I've had problems with my camera too but it actually started with random crashing then turned worse that I had to take the batteries off just to turn it off or i couldn't even turn it on for some reason. i also considered updating the firmware but I found out that mine actually came with the latest firmware which is 1.04. I still tried it but before doing the upgrade I decided to reset the camera and then format the memory card then followed the instructions on the website, but after everything it just said the upgrade was not successful so i just turned it off. I turned it back on again and it seems to work fine now, no more freezing or random crashing. I sure wish that fixed it. Try reseting your camera then choose the format option. Best of luck!

It is getting stuck while refreshing the database.

Depending on the amount of the data or music files you have on your device, "Refreshing Database" may take a while to finish. But if you feel it's frozen you may try the following steps:
Reset the device 1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player. NOTE: Resetting will turn the player off while it is frozen.
Delete recently loaded files 1. Connect the device to the PC in MSC mode using force MSC. 2. Locate and delete recently added files. 3. Disconnect the device from the PC.
If this resolves the issue, proceed to STEP 3. Otherwise, format the device, update to the latest firmware, and reload the songs to the device.

MY Phillips mp3 player is frozen. It doesn't turn on.

Reset the player.
If it freezes again after you reset it, you need to update the firmware on your player. In order to update the firmware, you will need to get the latest version of the Philips Device Manager for your model from Philips website. Then use the "Update" function in the new Device Manager.

Sansa e260 will not power up

Okay what you do for this is hold down the power button for 20-25 seconds or so. This will reset your Sansa e260 and then it will power up like normal. I have had this problem before. If that doesn't work then I don't know what will.
