Your nipple button under your hand grip is not disengageing when you release brake grip. The switch is staying in instead of popping back out. Spray some wd-40 in their. Its between the brake perch and the brake lever.

I have an 05 Roadking Classic, the brake light stays on all the time. I just replace the brake switch on the bottom of the frame and the problem continues. Any ideals.

Usually when I see this, it is a bad brake light switch in the right hand handlebar switch housing.

Most of the time if the front brake master cylinder was incorrectly installed, it'll break off the little nub on the switch.
This nub on the switch is what the front brake lever pushes against when it is released, causing the brake light to go out.

You'll need to open up the switch housing, unsolder the old switch, and solder in a new one.

But first, open the housing and you can manually press on the switch to see if the brake lights go out.

My brake light stays on 2009 ultra classic

Have you recently done any work to the right handlebar or had the front brake lever off? If so, there's a good chance the lever wasn't reinstalled properly, or the switch is broken.

Brake light stays lit, new bulb and eleltrical bundle for light. Not the front hand brake sensor.

You may have a bad rear brake light switch. Find the rear brake master cylinder and the metal hose coming out of it going to the rear brake. Follow the line as it goes under the bike. You'll find a tee fitting in the line with a pressure switch in the line. The switch will have at least two wires plugged onto it. Unplug the wires and see if the brake light goes out. If so, replace the switch.

Brake lights don't work for my 94 grand am. fuse still good.

sounds like you have a bad brake light switch, its located on the brake pedal , you can unplug the switch and check for power at the connector with a test light , find the wire that lights up ,plug it back in and go to the other wire with test light and with test light probbed in other wire push brake pedal in and test light should light up if not ,bad switch.

Brake light staying on seems to be at the pedal the problem

it has a brake light switch connected in the line with a T connector between the rear master cylinder and the rear caliper, sounds like the switch is stuck, locate the switch and unplug it to see if it goes out,if so prolly faulty switch unless caliper is stuck

I have no rear turn signals and brake light.

i would start with the fuses, then move on to the wire connectors from there.

No rear brakes, pedal goes all the way down and brake lights don't work, but they work off the fronts

You need to check you rear brake master cylinder. Something is wrong with this as your rear brake is not working. The brake light for the rear brake is activated by a pressure switch whereas your front brake light is activated by an normal push/release switch. Fix your rear brake problem and the brake light problem will be repaired as well.

It may be time to rebuild your rear brake master cylinder.
