Question about Frigidaire PLD2855RFC Dishwasher
My dishwasher has leaked since day one, but very sporatically. It may be fine for days even a couple weeks and then it leaks again. Water appears to be coming from the corners of the doors and also from the center just back from the door a bit(drips just in front of some black motor looking thing). I have had repair people out 3 times. They have replaced the seal and also put in a different valve as my water pressure was bit low and it was not filling sufficiently. Now I get enough water and it cleans well and everything but then just one day out of the blue it will leak again, like today !!
The gasket at the bottom of the door where air vents in to allow for "drying" gets water splash that differs depending upon what is loaded in front of it. For instance, my dishwasher (Frigidaire PLD2855RFC1) leaks only when a certain spoon or something is loaded in a certain position or a pan is creating too much basksplash. That sort of dynamic simply excapes the repair types in a lot of cases. And the problem leak does not occur when the technicial tests it when the machine is empty.
You need to call your local repair folks and tell them to get on their "support service website" (that only they can get on) and look up Electrolux bulletin DW 071 which speaks to this issue. The offending and poorly designed "gasket" has quietly been redesigned and supposedly fixes this problem. Too bad they don't tell us about it. My serial number fell right in the middle of the units produced with this bad design. I will never again buy a Frigidaire of any type - ever. Nor will I deal with Coos Bay Area Appliance Store again. They all spoon fed me all kinds of accusations that it was installed wrong, unlevel, whatever. None solved my problem. THEY WILL SUFFER REVENUE LOSSES because of this. Good luck to you.

This did it for me. I emptied the dishwasher(whirlpool quiet wash plus) and ran it. No leakage evident after that. I am not sure what was causing it, but, I have told my wife to be on the lookout for the culprit. If something shows up I will update this post.
