I am sure you tried the obvious (circuit breaker on)...but have you tried resetting the motherboard cpu. Sometimes a simple power off at fuse box...wait 1 minute and then power on can reset it. If this fails, the internal fuse has probably failed. If you are brave, open the inside of the door and access the board. Inspect for failed (cartridge) fuse and for any obvious signs of a burned component in the power-feed area. (PLEASE be sure that the power is removed from the dishwasher before attempting this!) If nothing obvious is found, call the LG service folks, tell them the problem and ask for a fix or a service technician recommendation. Depending on the age of the unit, it may be repaired under warranty.

Our 14 month old dishwasher will not turn on

if you are getting no lights on the display and assuming you have mains power getting into the dishwasher, the problem could be on the power control board located at the top part of the door module under the display panel.
Refer the control panel diagram item K253

You have to be careful when handling the dishwasher. Make sure it is disconnected from the main power and the water inlet is turned off. If in doubt call the service technician. You are still covered by parts warranty for 2-5 years (depending on part) See warranty policy in operators manual

When I push the power button on the dishwasher, there is now no power and the dishwasher does not turn on and there are no lights generated. The circuit breaker has been checked and that is not the...

Try a fan or light where the washer is plugged in. Suspect a bad power plug connection if the test works. The next suspect is a faulty microswitch connected with the door latch mechanism. You will likely need a test meter to track this down. Good luck!

I just installed the dishwasher and do not turn on

On the LG LDF6810 model, you should be able to open the door and press the power button (right side of the top of the door.) It should wake up and you should see lights.
If that fails to happen, trace the power from under the dishwasher to where it is plugged in to the wall. If it is under the sink and you have a waste disposal, it is very possible that both outlets are switched on/off by the disposal switch. I would find a known-good table light or something similar and plug it in to the outlet and see if the light turns on when I switch it on. Electrician is needed to separate the top/bottom outlets so the dishwasher is always on and the disposal is properly switched.
If the dishwasher is not connected to an outlet, rather directly connected via electrical wire, have an electrician confirm the hot, neutral and ground wires are properly connected under the dishwasher and check the circuit breaker/fuse for that circuit.
Please report back what you find, OK?

Will not turn on

check the following to address this issue.

1. No power to the dishwasher
Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Door switch
Replace if defective.

3. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

4. Selector switch
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

LG dishwasher LDS5811ST

The problem with the dishwasher acting haunted is probably the main controller card. If you don;t have an extended waranty, know that LG will cover the parts for free through 24 months but after 12 months, the labor will be charged.

Problems with my dishwasher whirlpool gold GU75xtvyo

If you are certain that the power is being delivered into the dishwasher and it is new / under warranty, I recommend that you do not crack open the dishwasher to search for the problem. You might void said warranty.

Contact the service number inside the owners manual and press for on-site resolution.

Dishwasher

If you have confirmed power to dishwasher, you are pobably looking at a control board. I have only run into this one time on a LDS5811 so far. Parts on LG dishwashers have a two year warranty. You have to dissassemble the door to replace the part.
