2006 Ford f150 xlt supercrew abs light comes on and off periodically mostly when I'm on rough roads, hit a bump or braking at high speeds brakes pulsate ( brake chatter) or feel Spongy at times

high speed and heavy braking will produce a pulsation in the pedal
that is the abs working properly and the pulsations are the brake release and reapplying
intermittent abs light indicates a wire or wheel sensor problem at one of the wheels

HI if you have pulsation after a month you must replace the rotors
they are too thin and the heat is warping them faster then before you

I have a 07 Rav4. My ? is How or what is in between the push rod and the brake pedal. I'm having problems with the feeling of a spring or a cable pulsating and catching in the brake pedal when...

The pulsation is normal and caused by the antilock brake system, any time the brakes are applied rapidly the abs will kick in and you will feel pulsations in the pedal.

Brakes are pulsating in pedal. we've changed calipers, turned drums and rotors, replaced pads, bled brake lines. what could be causing the pulsating and egg out feeling.

Your rear drums are out of round (warped). Eventhough you turned them the problem will not go away because they have hot spots in them that turning can't remove. You need to replace them with new ones to solve this problem. Pulsing pedal is rear brakes and a shimmy in the steering wheel while braking is in the front brakes.. Good luck I hope this helps you out.

Brakes pulsate when you put them on. When I take off from a complete stop it feels like the brakes are not releasing immediately.

Pulsating brakes are often caused by warped brake rotors. In order to check for a brake that isn't releasing I would suggest lifting one wheel at a time, applying the brakes and immediately checking if that wheel turns freely. Repeat on all 4 wheels. If you find one that isn't turning freely you'll have to address the problem with that brake.

Brake pulsating and abs light is on

brake pulsation is caused by warped brake rotors, not sure the ABS light and the pulsation are related, The ABS warning light requires a scanner to be connected and to read the fault code that is stored when the ABS warning light is turned on.

What causes pulsating brakes in a 96 subaru outback legacy 2.2?

Assuming you are not referring to the pulsation experienced when the anti-lock braking system engages, you should replace the rotors and the pads while you are at it. The days of turning or resurfacing rotors are over. They are cheap.

Volvo 850 GLT's brakes??

if the pulsating in the steering occurs while braking this is an indications that the rotors are out of round and need to be turned or replaced. if they are causing a pulsating while driving without braking it could be the calipers sticking.

your back brakes will be cooler than the front brakes as the majority of braking is done ith the front brakes even on four wheel disc brakes. hope this helps.

Brake pad pulsating

Possible causes- low spot on the rotors. Caliper pins not sliding with pulsation. May not need to replace pads.
