Pop up window says incompatible windows media player. I upgraded from player 10 to player 11 but I suspect it needs an older version of media player. HELP!!!!!
I have used every version of streets & Trips since 05, and have never had any issue with Win Media Player, currently using streets 2009 on one machine with Windows 7 RC1, which has WMP 11, and on another PC streets 2008 and Vista with WMP 11. You may need to change your default program settings for media back to WMP if you ever had another media player installed.

When I install S&T2006 it won't complete the install on my XP Pro laptop. I get dialog that says "your installation has been interrupted, try later again (or something to that effect). I've used the same disk on other laptops with XP Pro successfully, but not this latest laptop for some reason. I've tried full installation and custom install (needs data disk to run) but I get the same message. Any ideas?

When trying to install the subject application, following error comes up: Windows Media Player 10 This version of Windows Media Technologies is incompatible with this version of Windows. For more information, view the info at the Microsoft web site. I remember having this problem 2 years ago when I initially installed Streets & Trips 2006. Seemed that the application was looking for a version greater than version 7 but didn't recognize the double digit version 10 or 11 as viable. There was a workaround to manually install and ignore the supposedly incompatibility. I just can't find the required instructions at this point. I have Windows Xp SP2 on my computer with Media Player version 10. Al Rogers
