The time on the clock was always accurate until it changed for daylight savings time. Now it's 12 minutes fast. How can I fix it?

You might contact your cable provider and see if their system indeed is broadcasting this subcarrier information. If so, is their system on the correct time? You might be able to turn this feature off on your VCR. Another thing to try, is disconnect the VCR from the cable system, set the clock, and see if it stays on time. This may indicate whether it is indeed locking it's time to the cable provided time.

Simple fix.
This
is a problem in one of the damper-related components, either the switch
or motor or the damper door may be binding.
The
damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode.
If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it
will shut down the cook cycle.
Sharp models stop after
59 seconds.
See the attached sample
drawing for a typical damper assembly.
We have the service manuals for similar models and have uploaded them to our site here and here to help you.
Note that the part numbers will likely differ.
If a switch is all you
need, we offer a universal type for only $5 postpaid which you can
order here.
If you need a damper motor, contact Encompass here
