Question about Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer
I noticed in printing in color the colors were off / not quite right. I tryed cleaning the it through the printer properties / maintenence / cleaning tools several times and even several deep cleanings. Upon printing the nozzel check which takes me to a print check pattern the two light bars of cyan and magenta do not print at all. The heavyer / darker cyan and magenta print as the screen displays it should. The 3eBK and 6BK print good as well.
I have taken out the print cartridges and removed the print head and rinsed it clean. Upon reinstalling the print head and ink cartridges I cleaned it through the printer properties / maintenence / cleaning. It printed the same as before.
Please let me know if you have seen this problem and have a solution.
You RINSED the printhead???
I wouldn't do that again.
Try taking a damp cloth and dabbing it against the printhead nozzels until you get lines forming on the rage from the ink (the nozzels you're having trouble with specifically).
