How to reset access code on magnavox 20ms233s

Hi. It's really necessary to have the original remote. All so called replacment do not have the "menu" button. In Philips TV's access code is not rquired. In your case, some channels are "whiped" and cannot be recalled. If you can go into setup-menu, things can be rearranged. There are numerous web-shops where you can buy an orignal remote. I recently bought an original remote for my DVD player. This however was at an on-line shop in Belgium. Just surch for Pilips on line shops in your country. Good luck.

Tv is lock

Hello

Apex TVs use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The override code for many models is 6688. Other sets may not have one, or may have a default code of 1225 instead of an override code.

  1. To use the override code:
  2. Hit the MENU key to get to the menus.
  3. Go down to the SYSTEM menu and hit the right arrow on the remote control.
  4. Once in the SYSTEM menu, go to PARENTAL GUIDE. It will ask for your code.
  5. Enter the override code listed above. From here, you can turn on and off different rating restrictions, as well as set a new code.
No matter what the V-chip code is set to, the override code will still work. If you have a blank screen with a red key on the bottom left, simply press the (function or F) button and the mute button at the same time. This will unlock the screen and allow you to view the channel as desired.
OK.

Can not turn off the vchip channel lock on hd 1080

hello try this Bypassing the V-Chip Lock
After you set the lock, you need your
passcode to view a V-Chip locked program,
view the locked TV, cancel the lock, or enter
the V-Chip lock menus.
If you forget your passcode, you can
view the locked TV without entering your
passcode. This is done by pressing the
number 9 and QV buttons on the remote
TV control at the same time, when your
password is requested. This process
temporarily unlocks the TV.
When entering the V-Chip Lock menu, this
process deletes your old passcode and
prompts you to enter a new passcode. good luck
