Question about Toshiba TP50G50 50" Rear Projection Television
Hi i need to know were to buy the kit to repair the red picture tube for a projection tv model No TP50G50 including the liquid and gascket
You will need to trouble shoot the start up and shutdown circuits. Often this is a minor component failing causing the set to not power up or go into protective shutdown. Do you have the service manual for this TV?

Your alignment is off. Go to the set up menu then convergence. hit right and you will be in the convergence menu. select the color that is not in alignment. The green line does not move. if blue and green are lined up the line will be cyan. if red and green are lined up the line will be yellow. when all three are lined up the color will be light. Best of luck!

SOURCE: color convergence messed up
you can get the convergence repair kit for your model that has both convergence IC and the six feed resistors at this link, The repair kit also has step by step instructions with pictures so you can do the repair your self. Heres the link. The 50H82 kit is the same for the 57H82, http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/toshiba-50h71--50h81-convergence-repair-kit/cName/convergence-repair-kits

100 volts is too low to power the entire projection TV. Usually with rear projection TVs there are three tubes that create your picture on the screen. To power those tubes, they each require a high voltage (usually around 10,000 volts - yes ten thousand) that is produced by a high-voltage step-up transformer call a 'Tripler' - since it powers all three tubes. This device and the rest of the TV require full utility voltage (120 - 130 volts AC) to properly power the unit. Correct the voltage and try again - is the house / residence voltage like that in each room? IF so, you probably have other issues with devices you probably haven't picked up on.

Since the set seems to correct itself when "cool", I would first try resoldering the convergence IC area. Quite often, the convergence problems start with poor connections that eventually cause the ICs to fail. Rather than spending money on a repair kit, try the resoldering first. I will verify the kit contents in the meantime.
Please keep us posted on your progress.
