Next, go to your browser settings (in google, its the "gear" on the Upper RH corner of your browser; in IE, also click on the "gear" and select "internet options)
In the section for setting home page, select "use Current" (the page you opened in the 1st step)

If search.conduit.com pages are opening up each time you start up Chrome, check in Wrench > Settings > On Startup > next to the radio button for Open a specific page or set of pages, click on Set pages > remove any unwanted URLs by hovering over the URL until you see an "X" appear to the right side of the URL.
If all searches that you perform in the omnibox is returning with results from search.conduit.com instead of your preferred search engine, check in Wrench > Settings > Search > Manage search engines > check the list of Default search engines, Other search engines, and Search engines added by extensions, and remove suspicious entries that you are not familiar with. Depending on your extensions, you may not see the last section for Search engines added by extensions.
If search.conduit.com is opening up when you click on the Home button, check in Wrench > Settings > Appearance > select the Show Home button checkbox > check if the URL that appears below it references search.conduit.com.
Also try to use System utility tool Reginout that will clean system and will remove unwanted registry entries of conduit.
LOL, sounds like a virus or infection has changed your homepage. Open
Google Chrome then click on the WRENCH in the upper right hand corner at
the top of the screen and click on Settings. When the screen opens you
want to be on the Basics tab so that you can scroll down in the middle
where it says Home Page. Click on Select This Page so that the dot is in
the circle and type in the web address of the page you want to come up
when you open Google Chrome.
It sounds like you had the Google Search as your home page so simply type http://www.google.com
You might want to download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan for viruses and infections.
Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:
"Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and
install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the
site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not
click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui
Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or
Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a
QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in
red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text
document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text
document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED
RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it
finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your
machine.

Your problem could also be that you don't have enough memory. Or ic could be that you are using the worst broswer there is (Internet Explorer). Try downloading and installing the following browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome. They are faster and safer than Internet Explorer. Don't worry, unlike Internet Explorer, they download and install in less than 5 minutes. Just go to www.google.com and in the search box type: Download Mozilla Firefox Do this for each one and make sure you download it from their site, not from some other site.
When you say homepage I assume you don't want to load yahoo site whenever you open a web browser. TO change your web homepage you need to go to the following:
for Firefox 6.01. (Most likely all firefox ver. are similar)
- Click tools - Click Options - Go to General TAB - type the website you want to be on your homepage at HOME PAGE box or Start page for other version
For Internet explorer 8 (other version are similar but not identical. Just look for tools) - Click tools - Click Internet Options - Go to General TAB - type the website you want to be on your homepage at HOME PAGE box or Start page for other version
For Google Chrome - Click the wrench icon on the top right side - Click options - Click Basics - At the HOMEPAGE section type in the website you want to load
Basically thats all. Please note browsers has different version but always look for the tools menu
The other most common reason for these printers to show unwanted led lit up is most of us keep the printers connected with power all the time. By keeping it on (standby) the inner power supply still keeps geting hot and distributes the heat accordingly for few more parts which then melts some of the delecate plastic parts/walls of the sensors inside and that keep sending the unwanted messeges to the main computer of the printer.
It is always a good practice to unplug ur printer everytime u finish printing (I m talking about printers at home which r not in use most of the time of the day).
This is not the forum for ranting. There is nothing we can do about this as we are not associated with yahoo. i unjderstand about hijacking your home page, many other sites and programs also do that.
As for pop ups, you can control them by electing to stop pop ups on yahoo.com in your browsers. I cannot under5stand what AVG coverage it took over. I use AVG and have 2 groups on yahoo site and don;t experience any problem with AVG being taken over or disabled. Try using some anti spy program and make sure your PC is not compromised with a trojan that is doing this.
