LD error I have this machine under 3 yrs and it's a piece of junk. Do not buy this. Now have to call a tech to come and figure it out. LD error, clothes sit wet with no rinse/spin cycle. Do not waste your money. Can't wait to find out how much the repair is going to cost me let alone the aggravation of not being able to do my laundry. JUNK!

Kenmore Elite Top load washer machine. Error "OL" does not spin fast enough. Clothes are still very wet. I have checked the machine is sitting on even surface and well balanced from all sides. Any idea(s) ???
Sometimes the LD on certain machines can be decieving, It's possible that the error is pointing to a lid lock issue. I'm a sears tech but have logged of my work computer for the night so I can't look it up right now. I just happened to stumble on this forum. In all appliances there is a tech sheet hid somewhere. This will give you more information. On this model, if you press and hold anykey for 3-4 seconds, let it up for 3-4 second and do that 3 times it will show more codes and go into a test cycle. Don't worry you cant screw anything up in the controller. If you or anybody needs help on appliances you can drop me a line. The washer drew half a tub of water on the "Bulky items" cycle, and stopped. All the lights on the cycle dial light up and flash, the machine beeps and the me error message in the "estimated time remaining" field is "Ld". I've tried to shut the machine down and change the cycle to "drain and spin" but it will not agitate, won't drain or spin.
Friend, ngfam1 At your service! When it is a code the machine is telling you that there is a fault and the electronic system needs to be diagnosed by a trained tech. My advise is, You spent enough money buying that Cabrio to be experimenting and guessing and buying expensive parts for it! Let the tech fix it 123 and your done. It may not have needed the drain pump and now that money could have covered the service call!

op is probably ob, off balance, the ld is long discharge, most likely the pump is bad or full of junk, the origional pumps were updated to a better design so as not to get stopped up.
I work for an appliance repair company and I had a recent service call for the same exact situation on this washer. I also know that Rotary Position Sensor is linked to the F-51 error code. I have found that this is not always the case. On this paticular call the F-51 error code was caused by a piece of clothing (sock, wash cloth, etc.) being stuck or jammed between the internal basket and the outer tub. I removed the cloth and the washer ran fine, so give that a check first before you spend the money.
I had this problem also. Ld means that it is taking too long for the tub to drain, usually something is clogged. Try taking a shop vac and sucking out the drain hose that goes into the wall drain. This should at least get you where the tub will finish the cycle you have going. I tried this and it worked for about 2 loads then "Ld" again. Finally removed the drain pump from the washer and let it empty completely. So far this has worked.
problem started when washer started itself up twice in the middle of the night....after that the washer seems to have problems figuring out what it wants to do...when running a wash it will start, run for 2 minutes then start scanning numbers...it does not land on a code...it will spin, stop, start...sears has replaced the mother board 3 times....and we will be phoning them again as it has not fixed the problem..one other time it did not spin properly and clothes were wet...we have a dedicated surge protector on it...we have had our electrical checked and no problems there...sears confirmed that as well..the techs have given up on it and don't know what to do with anymore...it is still under warranty and now costing sears more to service it then replace it....time for them to do the right thing and "take it back"...very disappointed in this washer...wish me luck when i call them again...they must be sick of hearing from me....lol
