Accounts messed up

Left my job about 6 months ago, was called a couple weeks ago because all accounts are messed up, she had been entering bills but when paying she was just going to checks and printed not going into payables and checking off, outside accountant has been recon. accts monthy but did not
address this problem.......I'm going in today to see what I can do , it would have been simple without the reconciliation.. the accounts payable shows the bills have been paid, but in the payable screen , since they have not been checked off, show thousands of dollars still owing, if I check them off now they mess up the virtual checking account..I was wondering if I should check them off and use a bogus account..

In my experience, if accounts payable shows them paid, then I would just delete the bill. The bills are just a bill. Once the payable shows them paid, then you would want to get the bills off the balance sheet. The accounts payable will show up on the P&L. I would try 1 transaction first and make sure everything is where it needs to be, and then go forward from there. I would discourge you away from creating bogus accounts. They can scew with the P&L.

Why am I being billed for an account that was canceled last month?


Most providers bills the customer the next month of your usage. So probably, you are billed for the services you used last month.
One sure way to know is to call the provider and get a clarification why you were billed. But if you canceled last month, this should be your last bill to pay.

Try recovering the password to your old email account. There should be a "Need help?" or "Can't access your account?" or some similar link on the sign-in page.

Brother, I think you're OK here. I run a couple in my shop, both cheap from Walgreen's, and I'd be ruining the suckers once a week if they didn't have auto-shut-off. Your's should too. Sounds defective.

Reset voicemail password from AT&T's automated system

Call 611 or 800-331-0500.
Enter the wireless number starting with area code .
Press 3 to "get help with voicemail."
Press 3 to reset your VM password.
Enter the Billing Zip code for the account.
After a few seconds, iPhone will display "Password Incorrect - Enter Voicemail Password."
Enter the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and tap OK.

NOTE: You must be registered and logged into myWireless Account to view this information.

From the myWireless Account home page, select Phone/Device then choose the Reset Voice Mail PIN link from the left column.
IMPORTANT: If there is more than one line on the account, make sure the correct wireless number is displayed in the Wireless Number list before selecting Reset Voice Mail PIN.
To reset the password for any of the lines on the account, choose a wireless number from the dropdown menu
