Re: turbo

It all depends how much boost you would want to run, 4-6 pound of boost would be safe, anything after that you may need to lower the compression and upgrade the fuel system and computer.Do some research on what your motors internals can handle and go from there.

it should run when the comp is on and the unit is calling for cooling, you most likely need a new fan for your unit.

Did you check or replace the defrost timer? It could be a solid state type built onto a Printed Circuit board or could be a timer motor, it all depends on the model and make of the freezer.

Side by side GE turbo-cool Gss25XSRBSS, the freezer seems to be fine, the fridge is not cooling. Fans seem to be running smoothly, no weird noises. Turbo cool turns on. It hasn't been running for

if you go here you can see the damper, fan assy. that's in the top of your machine in the fresh food side
this is a damper with another fan in it,when the t-stat calls for cold air the damper door opens to let the cold air in from the freezer and the fan in it blows the cold air around inside the fridge,if the freezer is fine and the fridge side is warm most likely this is your problem, part number WR49X10091 and it's around 130 dollars.unplug the machine, remove the light cover on the ceiling, remove the 1/4 inch screws and drop the light assy.remove thhe filter cover on the right side so you can remove the damper assy.pop off the cover on the piece that runs up the back center, remove the screws to the damper, read the instructions and put it back together again.should take you around 45 to 60 minutes.hope this helps and good luck.

My model PSD262LHEW refrig freezer stopped cooling. the motor still runs

By your question , motor still runs , which motor ? If the freezer motor is the motor your refering to , then check the compressor to see if it is running . If not , then the overload/relay is bad pt# 67005560 . This is the piece plugged onto the compressor with 2 or 3 wires going to it .

Water freezes in the drain of the freezer compartment thereby plugging up the drain......with water running onto the floor. I am now running an electric heater in the freezer box to melt the ice &...

There are drain heaters that you can buy that will take the heat off of the motor and transfer it to the tube to keep it from freezing. I recommend buying one, they are fairly cheap. Just call up the local dealer or you can find them on online stores that sell refrigerator parts.

Replace the thermostat which is located on the back of the unit underneath the bins in the very back. If the thermostat goes bad it will let everything just run and run and run. If this has been helpful please rate

Bosch KGU32160 fridge freezer

The compressor behind the fridge should cycle on and off as the machine maintains temperature, but the evaporator fan inside the freezer will keep running, except when the fridge goes into defrost. If the noise is coming from the fan inside the freezer, there could be some ice on the frame of the fan and the blades are touching the ice. If the noise is coming from behind the fridge it could be the condensor fan motor. This fan is situated behind the fridge in front of or next to the compressor. It keeps the condensor cool by blowing air onto it. Check this fan. The blades could be touching the pipework or something.
