Veriphone "Bad mac"

is your verifone you are talking about is a pinpad 1000se or the creditcard machine (VX510, VX570 etc.) and bad MAC (message authentication code) and i believe if the machine is not encrypted right or the encryption was errased for some reason, bad mac will appear. I've seen some of bad mac error together with tamper error on VerifonePinpad because the battery is going bad. Replaced battery and load the encryption, pinpad works again. Hope this will help you or call (775)358-2922 look for randy and maybe we can help you further. thanks
