I can open the Home Center but when I click scan or copy or print a window pops up saying to select which kodak printer i want to use from the list but there are no printers listed. I click rescan for printers and nothing happens so I click connect kodak printer a window pops up asking how I'm connecting the printer; usb, wifi, or ethernet. I'm click usb it installs the drivers and says driver installation successfully completed. I click done and still no printers on the list. I can still print from word or from a web page I just cant use the home center.
Most times kodak software is a pain in the neck to use.
I don't know if you still really want to use home center but it seams like the printer is installed so just use your windows picture viewer to print its a lot easier. (if you have mac computer it has a picture viewer you can use also.)
-but if you really want to.
1) uninstall the printer and install the driver your self.
2) restart your computer.
leaving the printer on and connected.
3) go to your control panel
-windows it is on the start menu. (older windows is is under start and settings)
-mac its under system preferences.
4) go to printers an make sure it is installed. (if the printer is there it is installed)
5) then make sure the printer is "on line" and "ready"
6) open home center.
7) try to scan or print a picture.
8) if it asks for the printer and there is no printers on the list scan for the printer.
9) don't install the printer a second time.
10) uninstall the printer
11) redo step 2
12) open home center click connect kodak printer.
13) click usb, wifi, or ethernet.
and install it that way.
14) if it still is being persistent, turn off the computer and printer. wait a minute and turn on the printer. then the computer.(sometimes windows needs to reboot to register that there is a printer connected to it.)
No you can't print. You need printer icon to operate.
You can try follow steps.
go to device manager , expand Universal Serial Bus (USB), right click on USB Composite Device, Uninstall it.
Reboot your computer.
You will get a printer icon,
and you can start printing without AIO Home center.

SOURCE: cannot scan or print from Kodak Home Center
One of the things that i tried was using a website to find the printer. They have thousands of printer all you have to do is type in what your printer is. Then it will install it into your computer. If that does not work then hopefully you didn't throw out the manual.
