If you don't know what you're doing, don't open it up to fix it! There are HAZARDOUS voltages on the power supply board EVEN WITH THE TV UNPLUGGED!!! The capacitors can hold a charge for several weeks!
Clicking noise can be coming from bad capacitors on the power supply board.
It's usually easier to just replace the power supply board.
Check you power settings. It is possible that it is set to shut down at 50% battery power.
If it is overheating, that too will cause a shutdown. What is happening at the time of shut down? Are the vents on the laptop being blocked in any way?
The chair will not move if the charger is plugged in. The flashes are normal with the charger plugged into the chair. The lights on the charger mean that the batteries have been fully charged. Red and yellow lights mean charging. After you unplug the charger from the chair (if off-baord charger, turn charger off or unplug from the wall) then unplug from joystick. after plug is removed from joystick press the on button and all the battery lights should be lit and when you move the joystick forward you will hear the electric bake release and the chair should move forward etc Hope this helps
Check in the POWER OPTIONS section of the control panel if the display timeout for inactivity is too short. This is ONLY if the machine remains running.
If the whole unit is shutting down then likely your charger is not being effective. This problem can be with the charger OR the charging system on the motherboard of the laptop.
Power drain would be a better solution in this case. 1.first shut down the comp 2.unplug the charger 3. remove the battery and after press and hold the power button for 60 seconds without any charger and the battery. After the 60 seconds replug the battery and the charger and turn the computer .

It's a problem with the cpu. It cannot switch over to battery power after the charger is unplugged. its not a hardware problem. I chased every contact point with a multimeter and it all reads as it should. I re-soldered everything, used a diffrent charger, new battery, erased everything on the phone and it still does it. the only constant is the prosessor in the phone. It's a design flaw that pantech built into the phone.
There are 4 reasons why your unit is behaving this way: 1. Charger is the problem. 2. The docking station is the broken. 3. The battery is broken or not accepting charge. 4. The actual unit is the problem. It is very hard to tell which one is causing this to happen. Let us do some troubleshooting first: 1. Plug your charger in an A/C outlet and make sure the red power light (left) is lit, otherwise the charger or the docking station is broken. 2. You can test the charger with a multimeter. Unplug the charger from the docking station and measure the voltage across the outside and inside, it should register more than 5 volts DC. If there is a 5Volt DC the docking station is the problem otherwise the charger is broken. 3. If the red power light is lit and the status light (right) is lit too, your docking station is broken. 4. If the red power light is lit, dock the unit into the charger, the status light (left) should turn red when your battery is accepting charge or turn blue when your battery is fully charged. 5. If the status light will not lit at all (while the red power light is on), tap the screen while the unit is docked on the charger. If the unit will become alive, you need a new battery otherwise you need a new unit.
12 hours is very long time to charge, the status light should turn to blue in less than 2 hours especially for a new battery.
